Dear Ms..Proud???๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Today’s blog post will be ย RAW. I’m going to pour out my heart out and if some family members do read this share it๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ ya’ll know who you are.๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰

How many Love serving the Lord? Through everything that comes with this ministry and path. And even though I love it sometimes I wish I could be a strong believer and be always in the presence of the Lord. That my foundations be always on the rock; However there are moments that I’m at my weakest and I HATE IT………Completely..

When I’m at my weakest I feel the most vulnerable and what I do in this situation is I hide myself from God and I don’t let God use it to glorify himself. You know being perfect it’s entwinedย ย most of the times in the doctrines of many churches.. to the extent that we view ourselves as saints. We are worshiping ourselves because we did not “fall”or even “sin” and that’s a hypocrisy because after all we are flesh and we sin every single day; whoever says otherwise is lying. God is not about egos or vanity; Yes he has call us to be holy but he knows that even though we astride to be; we will never get there.

For example imagine this;

A big mountain made of just rocks and that God is seating at the top or that the top is God’s level of holiness. And we are the speck in the bottom of that mountain. We are climbers trying to climb to the top to get the victory of having climb that difficult mountain. However during the climb I fall because I did not grip the right rock or the equipment was not in the proper place. The Rocks that get in the way will be the obstacle or test that we go through. And the fall will be the sin. Some people might never get to the top of that mountain; they will end up in the middle, because at the end of all we are human and flesh while he is a mighty God.

โ€œPursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:โ€
โ€ญโ€ญHebrewsโ€ฌ โ€ญ12:14โ€ฌ โ€ญ

That verse right there says it all. What does Pursue mean? Pursue in the dictionaryย means to follow, proceed or engage. For me I take it as is to search and follow a certain path or goal which for many is living in holiness. But we forget that Jesus disciples were men who sinned and were made of fleshย during the time they walked with him. Our view of Holiness or Perfection it’s twisted because we critized the exterior of the person but we never look into our hearts to see the ugliness or wickedness that’s in there. We will never to be complete perfect or Holy because the moment we do we forget that God exists. We will think of ourselves as saints as God ourselves. When our flesh still has needs and wants and our soul still battles daily with the things of the world.

Who are we trying to fool? We can’t hide from God he sees every action and every fall but still he wants us how we are. This past weekend I went through a situation that in which I saw the hand of God. Have you seen that scene or moment in a movie or tv show of suspense. Well that’s how this weekend was. I was seeing only the big problem but no my God. I can’t stop giving thanks for what he has done in that situation but that’s where you see his mighty hand .

P.S. God Bless Everyone… Dios Les Bendiga๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•โค๏ธ Remebember to let’s share the kindness and love of our God๐ŸŒŽ๐ŸŒŽ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

  1. Hello Sis, I just read this article. I love your point and the sincerity with which you expressed it.

I will like to ask some questions. I hope you may help me understand what you mean better.

Is it possible for the child of God to be Holy? Secondly, is a child of God a saint?

    Thank you.

    • No brother we might try to be as it’s says it the Bible in 1 peter 1:16 and Leviticus 20:26; however because we are flesh and our flesh is weak we can never be. We can try to not sin and depart from all the things that might taint our walk with the Lord but at the end of the day we are just humans. We might have been if Adam and Eve never had eaten from the tree of knowledge. And yes we are saints metaphorically speaking after all we are sons and daughters of the most high, we are priest and high priestess but at the end we are human and we are flawed and we sinned everyday. For humanity is a Sinning race and that will only change after the broom picks up the bride; then we will have new bodies because we have tried to follow his commandments and have done what he has asked for us but others wise right at this moment nope no one is holy enough. Hope I answered your questions brother to the best of my abilities.

  2. You are very kind to have responded this much.

If we can never be holy as children of God, then, why does God speak about the children of Israel being a holy people into Him? The same is mentioned in 1 Peter, that the believers have been made a royal priesthood as well as a holy nation?

Scripture also records that “we should be holy because God Himself is Holy”. Will God tell us to be what is not possible for us?

Remember also that without holiness no one can see the Lord, who are those that will see God if holiness is not attainable in this world?

I think you are talking about perfection. No man has attained perfection, only Lord Jesus attained it. We are all still growing into perfection, however, people who are not perfect can still be holy. This is the reason we can see the believers referred to as saints and holy in the scriptures.

God sees our hearts and understands our weaknesses
He knows that it is not possible for us to attain His holiness by ourselves, no matter how hard we try. So, He gave us His Holy spirit.

Please note that God’s temple is Holy. He sanctifies His temple and makes it fit for His use. This does not mean that the temple is perfect, it just means that the temple is sanctified.

God dwells in us. He sanctified us by His Word and Spirit. Lord Jesus told his disciples that they were clean because of the word He spoke to them. But that did not mean that they were perfect.

It is not the nature of the New creature to sin, rather, sin is of the flesh. Sometimes, believers may act in the flesh, but that does not mean that they are sinners. When he turns to God in repentance, he is washed clean and. A believer should walk in the way of God, that is his real identity.

The sinner is not so. He is outside God and walks continuously in the flesh.

What do you think Dear Sister? Is perfection the same as holiness?

    • Brother;
What can I can I say; I’m liking where this is going because it opens my mind to different point of views. Yes as the temple of God we are holy and yes he called Israel as his holy nation or people but if we read through the old and New Testament the people of Israel always idolized other idols and ideals. I don’t know how many times they are called harlots and other names in the Bible because they were never content with God. They were never able to grasp what God wanted to do with them and that is why we were given the chance to be their sons and daughters. To be perfect is to an immaculate which pretty much means to be flawless. However holiness means we are clean and our sins says that God forgets about them when we truly repent but I’m going to be talking through experience here. I know the Holy Spirit resides in us and that our bodies are his temple but when you sin and don’t repent and keep on sinning it says that the Holy Spirit gets sad and because we keep sinning sometimes we can’t feel him even though he is there with us pursuing us. There have been moments in my life where I have sinned knowing that what I was doing was wrong but it seemed as inevitable choice so i kept doing it and I never have felt the most lonely and sad. That why I say we can try to be holy and I’m not disputing that we aren’t or that you can’t be if you don’t try but we will never be as holy as our father. This world is so corrupt and the inhabitants in it that it cries out of the amount of sin and violence that is in it. Believers when we are spiritually weak we give the power for the flesh to sin because it’s a constant battle that we fight actually a daily battle. Hope I answered your questions.

  3. Thanks a lot for your response Dear Sister.
It is good to see that we are getting to agree. I will like to add a few things though.

It was God who sanctified the Israelites and made them holy. That was their default setting. Unfortunately, several times in history, they turned aside and began to practice the ways of the world. The problem here was not that they were not first holy, but that they refused to walk in holiness.

Have you noticed that there were holy people in Israel? Consider the high priest. He must have been holy before God before he could offer the sacrifices, especially in the holiest place. If he wasn’t, God would kill him instantly.

Although the high priest was more holy than the other priests, God took their holiness seriously too. Remember Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron?

The ordinary priests were more holy than the ordinary Israelites. We learn from this that we can be holy as much as God has sanctified us and then we can grow in holiness.

The problem sometimes is that believers do not live to the measure of holiness that God has given to them. This is not the normal thing though.

Holiness is the real nature of the believer and should be expressed, no matter the corruption in the world. We may have a problem when we are seeking to be holy by ourselves, trying to live our lives by ourselves. If however it is Christ that lives in us,
and we allow Him to live by His power through us, we will find out that holiness is just the way.

The corruption in the world is not an excuse not to be holy because it is Christ that is living in us. He is the One doing the work by Himself. All we need to do is to submit to Him. It is impossible for Jesus to live an unholy life. The same is true when He lives in us.

We can be holy according to the measure of sanctification we have received from the Father. This means, we can be holy the way God has revealed Himself to us. If God gives us 5 talents, 100% profit is 5 more talents. But the person who receives 2 talents will make same 100% too if he makes 2 more talents. Do you notice, the Master will be equally pleased with both of them for making 100% profit. To whom much is given much is expected.

What do you think? It’s always good to hear from you.
