Romans 5:19
“For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.”
Always remember that obedience is really important to God. The Israelites did sacrifices for God but they were never constant in their obedience toward the Lord and at the end; the sacrifice was not enough as God only wanted them to depart from idolatry and wickedness. Are you the type of person that sacrifices a lot but does not obey or obeys but doesn’t sacrifice enough?. There needs to be a balance in your spiritual life. Abraham receive blessing and favor in God’s eyes not because of his sacrifice but for his obedience to the commands the Lord gave him and that he obeyed.
