Testimony➕🗣

God Bless everyone on this beautiful day. Sorry I been MIA for this couple of weeks but it’s with immense joy and deep gratitude that I’m writing this blog post. I’m the type of person that firmly believes in spreading the good news to everyone and let me tell you that I really have great news to share with all of you today. I know many of you have been with me and this blog since the beginning and I want to thank those that have united but I would not be here nor would I be able to share this good news without God.

We Are Home Owners!!!!

As many of you know I have shared with all of you our process of buying our new house in some posts since the beginning. It was a long process where we did not see the end of the tunnel nor did we see the blessing that would be waiting for us. I cannot tell you how many roadblocks presented themselves during this process, and it was a process where our faith was tested. There were tears of frustration, tears of excitement and tears of joy. Since the moment we started searching for a home to buy, there were roadblocks; whichever house we liked that house would be sold the next day or people will not accept the proposals that were sent. Let’s not even talk about the process for the loan; actually, let’s do it because you will see how God moved in this.

My father and mother applied for a loan together and that process was so long and difficult. The bank required that they have references from their job and the landlord from whom they rented. Let me tell you that there were issues with the job and worse the landlord from whom they had rented for 9 years; he did not want to give the reference. This delayed the process more; our closing date was pushed back three times. We were completely done with the whole process the last time they pushed back the closing date; my father had already decided to cancel the whole thing. But my mother had a dream in the beginning of December; where she saw that they received their keys until the month of January. At this time we were still with the first closing date for the 14th of December but after that was pushed back and the second was pushed back and then the third we understood that it was not in our timing but Gods’.

On January 17th they were finally able to close on their house and in that moment that they were signing their paperwork; I could see in my mother’s expression that it was worth the 9 years of prayer over this home. In my father’s expression is was worth the hard work and the saving of money. Truthfully God’s hand was at move during this whole process even in our day of moving; my mother says that God sent angels that day to help us move. It took us two drives to move everything to the new house and in the first, the ones uploading and downloading the stuff was only my father, mother, and I. But God came through by sending some family members and even people from our church to help by the second drive.

Isaiah 41: 18

I will open rivers on the barren heights, and fountains in the middle of the valleys. I will turn the desert into a pool of water, and the dry land into flowing springs.

As I was preaching on Saturday in our youth service, your affliction becomes your blessing. The desert becomes your blessing; it’s where you grow spiritually, mentally and emotionally. You learn to rely on God for everything. This process taught us that relying on God is always right; who is better than him to help you in moments of doubt, tribulation, and fear. As my father was giving the testimony about two services back he said that it’s painful to be mistreated by others maybe for no reason or because of fear, hatred or pain; but that God was seeing everything and he offered the comfort and gave the strength in those moments and he will give you the blessings that you are requesting him in his timing.

P.s. Sorry for being absent for so long, but moving and all that comes with that takes pretty much over your life🙄 I hope that this post will help you keep moving forward in whatever process that you may be in at this moment. God never forgets nor forsakes.
