2020 Year of Victory

God bless everyone, I hope everyone is having a blessed week. I hope that the holidays brought to you and the family memories that you can cherish for days to come.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

If the year 2019 was your season of pain, sadness, fear, doubt, hardship and unbelieve, then trust that the year 2020 will be your season of Joy, Mercy, Grace, Love, and Blessings but only through Christ alone. God is our ever-present helper; our provider and healer. To some 2019 was the opposite; if for you this year was a year where you were able to see God’s hand upon your life and your faith instead of diminishing it grew, then keep growing in God and allow the Lord to guide you through the process. Make or continue to keep the Lord as the first priority in your life.

Every year is a year where I grow spiritually as well personally. As the year of 2019 came to an end, I reflected in a lot of things that God did in my life and family, my family saw God’s hand over every aspect of their lives. We saw the deliverance of my brother from alcoholism and drug addiction, saw the blessing of my parents’ house; but we also saw difficulties that unexpectedly came into our lives. The previous year taught me that following God, will bring displeasure from many people. Changing your convictions for something as a personal gain for example; money, fame or relationship is a big no. All of this can disappear in a blink of an eye while God will forever remain faithful.

Go into this new decade with a new mindset; believing that this year you will conquer the unconquerable. Remove what is not beneficial for your life, separating yourself from things and anyone that instead of bringing you closer to God will remove you from his presence. I was watching someone preach and the word that was brought was about Sanson not knowing that the spirit of the Lord had left his side; due to being overwhelmed with Delilah. We a lot of times don’t know when the Holy Spirit has left our side due to being overwhelmed with this world and everything that is in it. At the end of everything, you are the only one that decides what to allow inside your life and mind. However, to conquer the unconquerable you must be one with the Holy Spirit.

If you have aspirations or goals for this year put them before the Lord and your heavenly father will definitely open any doors necessary for you to accomplish those if it’s within his will for your life. Let’s walk into this new year with obedience in our hearts to God’s voice.

    1. Amen, just as Ecclesiastes 12:1 says;
      “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them.” It’s better to live your younger lives for Jesus than anything else♥️
