Respect. The missing verb from our Lives.

God Bless to all that are reading this post, I felt in my spirit that I had to share something today. God has been speaking from the last couple of years, months, and weeks to our lives and we are not hearing his voice. It’s disconcerting to see how the morals and values of the human race are going downhill.

“You shall stand up before the gray head and honor the face of an old man, and you shall fear your God: I am the Lord.

Leviticus 19:32

It’s disconcerting to see the destruction, discrimination, and crime that society, in general, is applauding and approving nowadays. These days we are seeing the fruits of what has been sowed years prior by generations before. The lack of respect for our seniors, parents, and, even to God. In the Old Testament as well the New Testament, God addresses this issue to the Israelites and to the gentiles.

Today as I was in the DMV waiting in line to pay my car taxes, I saw this 60 to 70 year old senior come in; he was walking with a cane and had a limp. He asked me to cut through the line to have a seat on the other side where the tables and chairs were at. As he was sitting down, I heard a 20 something-year-old woman start ranting; who was four people down line to this senior. Screaming obscenely things to someone that had no issue whatsoever with her, just because she thought that he had cut through not to wait in line like everyone else. However, it’s ridiculous that everyone was murmuring among themselves about the spectacle that she was making but no one dared to speak up; to make her stop verbally abusing the senior.

It was the most sickening and disturbing experience I had ever encountered in public; respect is no longer being taught in schools nor many homes. Instead the society that we live in; is teaching our generations how to rebel against authorities, parents, laws, and even God. Many Christians are living a Christianity full of emotions; which means they are being controlled by their emotions and what they believe is good. The word says in Romans 3:10-12,

As it is written:

“There is no one righteous, not even one. 11 There is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. 12 All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.”

Romans 3: 10-12

There is no one in this world who is righteous in the eyes of God; no one who can say, God, I’m the only good or righteous person that exists in this world; because one way or another you have fallen short before the Lord. These latter days are when the church should be awake and be led by the Holy Spirit using discernment in everything; but, it looks like the church is not awake yet but instead is asleep. We are meant to be set apart from the world and see not through our worldly eyes and what we “believe” but instead our spiritual eyes. The coming of Christ is upon us, everything is being set up for the reign of the Antichrist and instead of us preaching repentance and salvation to the millions of souls that are in need of him; we are instead, becoming one with them.

You who are reading this post, I urge you to maintain your eyes upon the Lord, society will try to change your views and convictions in a lot of areas but only the Holy Spirit will be able to guide you in the uncertainties of this life. We are not meant to stay in this world and become part of it; instead, we are meant to be set apart for the reward that was promised by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. 10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

Romans 12: 9-10
