“Not this man,” they shouted, “but Barabbas!” (Now Barabbas was a insurrectionist.)
Sorry I have been missing this couple of days but I been sick and things have happened. Today we are going to be talking about a story that many don’t pay attention to it and if we do we overlook it. I’m pretty sure the majority of us have seen the Passion Of Christ. I just love that movie I think the actor who portrayed Jesus was pretty good at it; it has become the film that stayed mostly true to the bible. But there are a couple of scenes that touched me and makes me cry when I watch it. But today we will talk about a certain scene and passage in the bible that I have overlooked or just makes me angry and confused and a lot of more emotions when I see and read it. That scene where Jesus is presented before the crowd and Pilates asks the people of Israel to choose who they wanted to free; a criminal( Barabbas) or Jesus.
“As soon as the chief priests and officers saw Him, they shouted, “Crucify Him! Crucify Him!”
Let’s focus on Barabbas; he was a criminal( a murderer and a rebellious man who didn’t obey authority.) The Jews chose this man over the one that was healing and doing miracles because he called them out in their hypocrisy and religious behavior. In one side they had the Truth and the Way and on the other side they had Sin. Why would the jews free someone who after he was freed he most likely would have continue to be the same.? I never dwelled in that passage because I just saw the injustice of what was being done to our Savior, but now I have realised that the Father allowed this to happen because he loved Barabbas, in that moment he was still a sinner but still he loved that murderer and sinner of a man. He chose for the people of Israel to freed Barabbas because first of all if he had died without Jesus sacrifice he would have gone straight to hell without salvation. I mean we do not know what happened to him after he was freed because the bible doesn’t tell but Jesus had to die to give him the opportunity for repentance and salvation and to bring salvation to all of us.
Jesus answered, “You would have no authority over Me unless it were given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed Me over to you is guilty of greater sin.”
Something that always boggles my mind is that Jesus even knowing that his Father was not a simple thing he chose to go through it. I mean if I were in that position I would have begged and pleaded. Let’s be truthful we might think it’s easy but we forget is that his suffering was multiplied by the amount of sin he was carrying upon his shoulders when he was crucified. Can you imagine the level of pain that he went through when he was flogged and whipped. It say in the bible that his face and body was disfigured; chunks of meat were being pulled. I can’t imagine going through something like that and then when you are crucified that your father’s presences leaves you because of the amount of sin that is in your shoulders.
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
We like to say grace, mercy and salvation is free but we forget the painful sacrifice and the blood that bought that. We take for granted what was bought through pain and blood; and we do with it what we want. We forget that in the old testament a sacrifice had to be done for the transgressions of sinners it wasn’t lightly. It say in the bible that Job sacrificed lambs for the transgressions of his family. Yes, Jesus came to do the ultimate sacrifice for you and I; but that does not give us the right to do whatever we want with it. Lets appreciate and change for better.
2 Chronicles 7:14
” if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
This verse says it all; nowadays we are going through so many situations in this earth that we can’t find the solution. We says it’s Global warning for the hurricanes, fires and earthquakes that the earth is going through. We says racism, prejudice for the violence in our cities and countries. We say corrupt governments and politicians for the homeless, orphans, hungry people in the world. But we never say that if we let go of our pride and really seek God with all our hearts and turn from the wickedness that we love to do; he might heal our land and our people. As I was watching in the news this week three more hurricanes will impact United States bringing more catastrophic events to this country. America, the World, you and I have turned our backs to God and we have done whatever pleases us. As I was talking with one family member and she was telling me that God is a God of love and he will never let us suffer; It came to my mind that he would if he saw that we need it. For example we have the Israelite’s; they were sold to slavery or captivity by God I can’t even remember how many times😳😳😳that should tell you something; why you’re probably asking yourself. Well it was because they were a rebellious nation; they did what they wanted. One moment they were worshiping God and the other they were worshiping pagan idols.
That’s what the world has become; when we are in dire situations we cry out ” God Help Us” but when our circumstances are going good we forget and immerse ourselves in carnal pleasure, vanity, money, violence and much more. We forget that our God is the same God of Israel; he is not just a loving God as how many of you see him and portray him. He is a God of wrath or doesn’t it tell you in the bible what he did to 2 sinful cities; he burned them down because he grew tired of those cities wickedness.Stop labeling our Father, Our God as vanilla because he is not just that side. Preach the Word as it is in the Word not for your convenience. Repent and pray for your cities, states, nations, neighbors and even the world because it is written that there would be signs before his coming and I believe we are starting to see it.
“There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among the nations, bewildered by the roaring of the sea and the surging of the waves”. 26″Men will faint from fear and anxiety over what is coming upon the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken”
Many of you might not like the way I’m talking about this but I’m tired of pastors, evangelists and regular christian people speak only about love, grace and prosperity. They have forgotten to speak the Bible as it is; not just what will fill your churches up and your bank account. We have made our father’s house a market for our gain. Didn’t Jesus preach about the end of times? Didn’t he teach in parables about it? It is good that we preach about love and grace but instead of just speaking about it act upon it. What is happening right at this moment I truly believe that is a wake up call for the Church as whole; because we are separated instead of united and we are slumbering instead of being awake and prepared. Does it mean it gives me joy that hundreds even thousands of people will be homeless, in shelters and without money or food; no it does not. The hurricane Irma will hit in North Carolina which is the state I reside in. I’m not afraid because I believe in God’s covering and I have faith that he will guard us from danger; but we are united in prayer in our household and church for those states that this hurricane is going through. That God will be taking control and guarding his children all of them. Let’s unite in prayer every night, every moment that you have a chance to pray for 1 to 5 minutes or more every single day. God is asking his church to wake up; let’s arise each day with more faith and strength. Let’s pray more for our neighbors, nation and world that God be touching those hearts that are off his path.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
P.S. God bless Everyone & Shalom🗣🗣🙏🙏💕💕
This blog post will be different. I want to say that whoever reads this post today, tomorrow or days to come will be able to understand and empathize with a race that the only thing we were looking for was a better life for our family and children’s.
As many of you have heard through news outlets today a big decision was made by the president of this country. That affected 800,000 millions of DREAMERS and I’m one of those 800,000 people.
I was brought to this country pretty young and with no knowledge of the language, culture and even weather. My country is a country that is in the middle of Central America; it’s not big nor small. However poverty and violence has increased in the mainland for various years. As I was saying when I was brought to this country I was young; I had to learn the language of this new country that would become my home. This country is suppose to be “Christian” that helps the needy and gives freedom to the millions of people that reside in it. I was wrong, my parents were wrong and even the world is wrong. Where is the love and the Christianity in this country that blames millions of children now adults for the faults of ignorant parents no actually hopeful parents for a brighter future for their sons and daughters. Where is the Christianity where people scream, rant or yell offensive remarks to people of color, race, religion or sexual orientation.Where is the love in the million of republicans and democrats that with their words insult and degrade a whole different race just because they are different. Has nobody learned from the history that the Bible teaches. Has no one learned from World War II that was initiated because of the misconception of the nazi minded people had on the Jewish race. Or from the Israelites slavery for hundreds of years.
In this moment I’m Joseph in the land of Egypt not knowing what God has prepare for me. There are over 800,000 millions youth, adults that are in fear because of the decision that was taken today. Am I worried? To be truthful I’m not. My faith is in the God that I serve and he is the mighty God that freed Israelites from the clutches pharaoh. He is the God that gave them a whole nation. What I am is sad for this country because they are digging deeper into a whole that they won’t be able to get out. Don’t you know that many of the people that are DACA are christian youth and adults. What I want everyone to know and understand is this; we have a bigger God then your hatred for a race that has done nothing to you. We work hard for the things that we wear, use and eat. My parents have work all their lives providing for us, they have paid taxes in every single thing in this country. Why are we discriminated just because we are human beings with needs. God protects his children in their time of need and I truly believe he is doing that. What I am is sad and sickened of a humanity that discriminates just because of color, race, religion and even sexual orientation. In my heart of heart I love every single one of you. I just hope to provide the words that God has put in my heart and mind to write to you. It depends in your part to accept those words and change your way of life if you truly accept that there is a living God that loves you and wants you.
Many people in the world not just America are narrow minded. They think they know everything and they judge based on their emotions and opinions without seeing the human side of it. They are so egotistical, prideful, haters and discriminatory but still the Lord wants to work in their lives. Sometimes I wonder why hasn’t God destroyed this awful earth that at the end we are just a waste of space in the whole galaxy but then in my mind I would remember that verse where Jesus reprimands his disciples for their outrage because a village rejected the savior.
“And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?”
“But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of.”
For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them. ” And they went to another village.”
The only thing left to do for us to do is to pray for this type of people. I also catch myself in the act of being that type of person sometimes. And the Holy Spirit reprimands me because I won’t change a person through hate, violence and racism. But through love, kindness, meekness, joy and all the fruits of the Holy Spirit. I pray that God touches your lives and opens your eyes not to just your own needs but those who don’t have the same privilege as you. And I hope every brother and sister in Christ unites in prayer for this decision that OUR president took and God bless his life and family but most importantly that he continues to guide him and has mercy on him. There are millions of brothers and sisters in need in this country that serve the same Living God that you do. The only thing that has protected them from this troubling waters has been his mercy and mighty hand.
I want everyone to elevate from this racist and insignificant mentality that we have. That the problems of others are not our inconvenience. Do something, open your mouth, write on your blog, make a video, protest peacefully but do something. Don’t stay in the same mentality choose love instead of hate, meekness instead of being prideful. Show humanity and compassion to the one in need. We dreamers are your neighbors, lawyers, school teacher, bloggers, some are your kids best friend and are your brothers and sisters in Christ.
I don’t know how to start this blog. It shames me in the deepest part of my heart to talk about this but I can’t let this moment pass and not talk about something that has affected my spiritual life since I was in my teens. What can I say sometimes we get ourselves in a pickle or the enemy uses anyone or anything to bring you down from where you at.
Seems like all I can see was the struggle
Haunted by ghosts that lived in my past
Bound up in shackles of all my failures
Wondering how long is this gonna last
Then You look at this prisoner and say to me “son
Stop fighting a fight that’s already been won”
Redeemed by Big Daddy Weave
My life has always been entwined with the church I was raised there and I can’t find myself nowhere else. My love for God can’t be taken from me, I love worshiping him, praying to him and spreading his word through actions, words or testimony. Since I was a child the Lord had spoken that he had separated me since in my mother’s womb. He called me as a prophet and youth leader since an early age; however insecurity and friendships in youth took me through a path that I should have never known or had gone through. What I’m going to talk about it’s a sequence of things that happened for one single reason.
I was Raped.
Many people use this phrase for popularity or for compassion; I use this phrase because it happened to me and I want to let anyone know that there is a God that redeems and Loves with undying grace. I was about 7 or 8 when a family member came to visit our grandmother; during one of the times she wasn’t home and my brothers where at a neighbor’s house playing soccer; he raped me. I never in my life have I felt such shame and hatred towards someone. I never told no one; not even my grandmother who was my guardian during that time. I was brought to the United States as a young child I was about 9 almost 10 . During the first three years of my move here; everything was good I felt safe; but I still had the trauma and nightmares. I wasn’t able to let anyone hold me down because I would react in a murderous rage. I started touching myself at night as a way to prove to myself that I was still pure that he hadn’t taken one of the most important thing. It was a battle that I would continue for years.
Enter high school years; by the 3rd year I was deep in depression. A friend of mine got me hooked to the erotica genre. But by then I had already seen and done things better left to not have done or seen at all. I had watched porn, I had masturbated and all of this things happened for feeling like I wasn’t worthy after what happened in my childhood. My nightmares had receded; I was going to church and was active but I was lying to myself. I masturbated at night because it brought me pleasure and a feeling or being secure and powerful of my own body. But at the end I felt shame for having done that. We know what the bible says about sexual immorality;
1. Corinthians 6:18
18.”Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body”
There were moments that I felt as the liar in the world. Sometimes the holy spirit would touch me and I would start speaking in tongues and stuff but I felt as if i was doing the greatest sin because I still was going through this purpose and it has been put in our heads that we need to be perfect; so I started to subject the holy spirit. I would not give him the freedom to move in my life; and that was the worst thing I could have done because at the end I was crippling my healing.
19.”Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;20.you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
“In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling.”
Been trying to see what I could talk but the Lord had other plans. As many of you know the situation in Houston well Texas it’s serious. I been watching and reading the news and my heart breaks for all this people who are going through this horrible time. Life will never be the same for them.
Many people have lost their lives in this flood. They are either homeless or still in need of rescue. Never in my life have a seen such devastation, we saw what happened in New Jersey about 2 to 3 years ago but this level of disaster has not happened in the American history. This reminds me about a storm that hit Central America called Mich in 1998 if I’m not mistaken; this storm made so much destruction in my city and country. Many lives were lost and many were left without homes, rivers overflowed and it was impossible to evacuate so people had to climb on top of the houses. The house that I lived in was the size of two stories and water was almost to 2/3 away from the top. I can completely relate to Texans right at this moment; many of them don’t have insurance on the homes, but what’s more troubling and sad is the death this storm brought. Many people died; they drowned trying to escape from this place.
“1I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains?2.No, my strength comes from God, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains”
My heart weeps for you; this is the moment that we need to unite and help our brothers and sisters out. This is the moment that the christian church starts helping out and crying out to God for these people. We need to cry out as if they were our family instead of strangers. Don’t you know that the more people pray the more God listens. Church is time to stop sleeping, Jesus coming it’s at the doors. All this devastation and violence is preparing the coming for our savior. Please let’s wake up, the husband is coming and the bride is still not ready. We are either asleep or slacking off with our indecisiveness. God wants us awake not sleeping.
“4.Jesus answered, “See to it that no one deceives you. 5.For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6.You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7.Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8.All these are the beginning of birth pains.”
Let’s keep this state and it’s cities in our prayers at this moment; they need our help and our prayers more than anything.
Lord we come into your presence this morning asking that you protect those are still in need of rescuing, that you give acceptance and peace to those who have lost a loved one or their homes. Lord in your name we ask that you take control this moment of that storm that you be guiding it out of this state. Have mercy Father; your word say that if we ask it shall be given. So in this moment we are asking you no pleading you that you take control of this situation. If you let this happen it was for a reason Father; let us understand what is it that you want to let us know. Lord we thank you because we believe that you are merciful and loving and that you have heard the prayers from your son’s and daughters. In the name of Jesus, AMEN.
“Do not hide Your face from me,
Do not turn Your servant away in anger;
You have been my help;
Do not abandon me nor forsake me,
O God of my salvation!”
Last night service one of the members from church preached and one thing he preached or talked about was that we have to have an encounter with God individually. And it clicked on my mind that many of us; don’t have that experience. We might go to church and we might say I believe in God but how many of us have had a real experience with God.?
For example biblical speaking there are some people in the bible that had that encounter with the Lord for example; Job, Moises, Abraham, Jacob , Paul, Samuel and much more. To some God manifested in dreams to others he spoke and some he manifested in a physical way.
3 There above it stood the Lord, and he said: “I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. Gen 28:13
I think we all know the story of Jacob how he had to flee his land and all. But what interests me from that verse it’s that God presented himself in Jacob’s dream. I mean who wouldn’t want that; for the Lord to come into your dreams and speak to you. But my point is this guy was raised with the believes of Isaac and Abraham; so he knows there is a God and all that come with it. But he has never had an encounter with the Lord. And that’s how many of us live nowadays; we go to church because it’s expected of us. We don’t go because we want to go praise the Lord and you know that’s why many millennials nowadays their main excuses are;
- Church is boring.
- Pastor is not involved with us.
- Where do the tithes and offering goes.
- Church involvement with politics and many more.
I learned through my experiences as a youth that was raised in the church and as leader of the youth that you can’t force no one to look for God. Each person has to go through a process and each one has to have an encounter with God. For example my youngest brother he was raised since he was a baby in the church. However these last few years he has departed from God; but you know what when God has a purpose with someone there is no one or anything that will stop him to bring that person back to his path. Well I tried to guide him the best way I could but I continue to pray for him. God has spoken to him a couple of times now but he never listened and instead became more rebellious.
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5
Well the Lord had enough and brought him to attention on Sunday during the preaching. He was called to the front and God spoke to him that he was going to be anointed because his ministry is as a pastor; however that would not happen if he didn’t choose to leave everything behind. He had to let go of a necklace that was tying him to the past and needed to raise his hands out of his free own will and I’m not lying when I say this kid stayed 30 minutes upright trying to raise his hands and he couldn’t. He would go halfway and then lower them. It was a deep struggle that he was going through it was a battle that he needed to fight alone and he fought it because at the end he took off that necklace and raised his hands and when the pastor anointed him, he fell backward without no one touching him. That doesn’t mean he is okay but it means that the struggle will be harder and he needs to fight more harder then ever now; he had his encounter with the Lord now it depends on him what to do with it.
When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” Gen 28:16
No one will win your salvation. Each person has to fight for their blessing and each has to fight for their salvation. The road is not easy there will be bumps and obstacles but it depends on you to fight your way through those things. Don’t you think Jesus wanted to give up when he was being whipped or crucified but he knew that if he gave up; humanity would never have the opportunity to being saved. He fought his battle now is your turn to fight for your encounter with God and your salvation. Don’t let anyone discourage you.
Right this moment I’m asking to myself this question…
What do I want from this life?
I know I want to go to college which at this moment is impossible for me, but I believe that God has control over everything. My deepest desire since childhood has been to be a singer and now as I have gotten older; quite a few more things have been added to that list. For example I love writing I can see myself as an author but I also see myself preaching and worshiping taking his word out to the nations.
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus”
However from where I’m standing it looks it will never be possible for those dreams to come through. I’m getting older and I know some will say that God can use you not mattering your age. And I believe that’s true because if we go to the New Testament we for example have Jesus he started his ministry at the age of 30 and it was a three-year ministry that impacted the world and is still impacting it today. So my question is;
What do I want from God?
See how I change the question because at the end is not what we want but what the Lord has ordained for us. Some people are given the opportunity to continue to pursue their dreams; while others are taken through a more difficult road. Some people got to leave behind their family and dreams to preach the word of the Lord. This brings me back the story about the rich young ruler and Jesus. Do you guys remember it? This young ruler was seeing the miracles that Jesus was doing and he wanted to be part of it; however he couldn’t let go of what he had to follow Jesus.
Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”22 But when the young man heard this statement, he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.
It’s so difficult to do God’s will; it’s a daily struggle because the world has thought us that if we don’t have a pedigree, fame, money or influence we are nothing. We are like the flies that nobody wants. But I got good news for you; because at the we are important to God. God still wants us without all of that; he is not looking for the outside but he sees whats on the inside.
Therefore do not be anxious, saying,
‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.”
I might not have what the world thinks is necessary to survive but I have the King of Kings in me and I truly believe that the Lord provides for his children. For example right at this moment I’m working at a government institution that you need to have a degree to be in it; however the Lord provided the door for me to get in here. And I believe I will be staying for some time; I don’t know your situation, your dreams but if God has called you to do something else I would recommend doing it because the blessing that comes after obeying the Father is abundant for you and your family. We make our choice after all and God does not work in a heart unwilling to follow and obey his commandments.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Sometimes we forget that the God we serve is the same God that provided for his people the Israelite in the desert. We can’t see beyond our wants and needs and I truly believe with everything in me that God wants to use this new generation but if we don’t stop focusing on what the world wants from us; we will never get to the potential that God has for us. So I might be without a degree, money or fame; however I’m not missing anything because my God provides when there is spiritual need and economic also. I truly admire the people from the old times they walked where God told them and they walked by faith and at the end the Lord provided for them.
P.s. Let’s keep praying for this violence that has risen in this country; after all we are all equal in the eyes of God. My prayers are with those states and countries that are going through violence for example; Venezuela and Charlottesville. Let’s spread the love to our neighbors and communities.
I have missed you guys… I been going crazy wanting to write on the blog; However I was not able. Long story short; I think everyone knows that I have started a new job at the NCBLPC which is an organization that gives licensure to counselors. Anyways it has been a couple of hectic weeks for me. I been getting used to the work environment, the job itself, my personal life and most importantly Church.
Do you guys remember that a couple of blog post ago, I talked about a blessing that I believed would come; well let me tell you it has come. It’s not only in the financial but also in my spiritual life; it has been growing stronger. I believe a change is starting to happen in my life and spiritual life. I have grown in authority in prayer and when I’m praising the Lord. There has been a movement of the Holy Spirit in my life, like never before. What is happening in my life has been prophesied and I’m just now seeing it come through. It has taken me years to grow spiritually in the Lord and mature as an adult.
I’m not the same Ana as of 6 years ago. I believed I’m being rooted to the deepest of the earth and that my roots are entwining themselves on the rock in the spiritual sense. That’s an analogy my pastor always says that we should be like the palm tree; that their roots entwines themselve over a rock and when a storm hits them; they might bend but the never break or fall. There is this song that I absolutely LOVE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’m going to translate a verse out to you guys I don’t remember if I already did post it or not. But here it goes;
” In my process, all left. In my despair the ones that were ran away.
I though I would be alone, and everything would end. But in the process I could understand that God’s love will never end.”
That beautiful LOVE.. I remember I was younger that I would always ask the Lord for a hug( yes I was needy- still am for him). It has always been my deepest desire. I guess in my mind I couldn’t comprehend at my younger age that he isn’t able to physically hug me. I would want that hug like it was the last drop of water in the world. I never knew that his presence was there and the Holy Spirit too. Hugging me and guiding me all the way.
” For God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten Son, So that whoever believes in him don’t perish but has eternal life.”
Sunday’s Service was a beautiful thing many lives came to Jesus path. They either repented or accept Jesus Christ as their savior. It was a day of multiple blessing for the body of Christ. Our lives will never be the same as before. Whoever reads this blog post I just want to say that Jesus Loves you and he is waiting for you to take that one step that at the end you won’t regret it or repent from making it.
Such a beautiful sound don’t you think?.. that song( hymn) always touches my heart because through grace and love we were able to get redemption.
Now this past two weeks has been a little bit out of control… I started a new job at the Board Of National Counselors. Anyways so it has been pretty hectic as I’m still getting used to the new job. And in this last two weeks we had the preparations for Father’s Day and the leaving of one of our teens for marine boot camp.
That was me alright. I was crying on Sunday’s service so much that I should be permantly out of tears( Just kidding ). But yes, one of our teens left for boot camp and we will miss him a lot. I think not many people come across with a youth nowadays that is zealous of the things of God; a youth that actually seeks God with all their heart. And what can I say; this teen I thank the Lord I was able to meet him and lead him but most importantly I was able to learn from him. God is taking this youth to the marine branch with a purpose and I believe with all my heart that he will be used tremendously; even though all the youth and congregation will miss him. We just know that he has a greater purpose ahead. Something that we can’t see right now but only the Lord knows.
Let’s get to happier stuff; so Sunday was Father’s Day… Let me shout it out…. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!!!!!!! To all those men of God that guide their family and household in the Lord’s way. You guys deserve all the honor because you guys break your back providing for your family each and every single day. You carry the big responsibility of guiding your family in God’s path and instructing your children to love the Lord. I can say with all my heart that I’m so grateful that God decided to create Adam before Eve. I mean I get we women can be tough and strong for our family and faith most of the time; However it was not the Lord’s want for that to be that way. That is why he created Men; so that they were the ones to be strong and be providers for the family.
John 3: 16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
I’m so blessed to have three fathers that love and support me. First of all my Heavenly Father because, without him and his love and mercy I would not be here today nor would I have the redemption or eternal life that his son provided through his sacrifice in the cross. There is no greater love than the one that was showed two thousands years ago. I mean what father wants their son or daughter to suffer for the iniquities or sins of others. Even if we are the holiest of holiest I can say with certainty that not one will give one of their children as a sacrificial lamb. Okay; some might argue that Abraham almost did; however even though he might have almost done it to be obedient; his heart was not in it. I can almost say that in that moment his heart was asking another solution; do you guys really thing this guy would give the son that was promise to him since forever; I mean Isaac was his lineage through his marriage with Sarah, I really don’t think his heart would have accepted it easily after all we are humans.
Second of all my Dear Dadddeeeee!!! You know that just by that word I’m a serious daddy girl😂😂😭 What can I say; when you are the only girl in the family of four boys that’s to be expected😂😉. But anyways I really do thank God because he decided for this man to become my father; he might not be perfect but he has thought me to never give up, to work hard for your stuff but most importantly to really love God. He thought me the morals that I nowadays live through and I’m so grateful that even though I might have been a hellion sometimes in my youth; he has always been my rock and constant thing in my life. I have never doubted his love towards me, my brothers or even my mother. He has been there to give advice, to joke around and sometimes to get psychological and even ask questions or discuss the weirdest or most difficult stuff that humans ask themselves about the Bible and God.. Dad, I love you with my heart and soul not just a small thing but with MI ALMA Y CORAZÓN ❤️ no one can take your place in my heart( actually that happened already… GOD happened 8 years ago but don’t be jealous though there is still room.) Thank you Pa for all you do and will continue to do for our family; in the name of Jesus I bless your life with good health, wisdom but most importantly love for your family and God. LOVE YOU 💜❤️💕💜❤️💕💜💕💜❤️
Now last my pastor or should I say my Spiritual Father. I thank the Lord that he put this Godly man in my life as my pastor, counselor but also as a spiritual father for our family, myself and the youth. Thank you for supporting the youth in everything that we do; sometimes even taking the initiative. You are an inspiration to all the youth and to many of the congregation for your love towards God. God uses you tremendously as a prophet, worshipper but also as father but most importantly as a spiritual father to many. I hope that God continues to use and bless you and your family in everything. And Happy Birthday also, you are nearing your fifties😂😂😂.
“For whom the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.”
And Happy Father’s Day to all you fathers those present and those that have already left to be with the Lord. I hope God blesses your lives tremendously each and every single day. That he gives you the wisdom and knowledge but also love to guide your family in his path. Happy Father’s Day to all and God Bless.
P.s. I can be a little bit dramatic, but let’s continue to have in prayer this nation and every single nation , every living soul but most importantly let’s spread Love through our actions and words. Love you all💜💕💜❤️💕
